Yabiko Himegami, also known as Yabiko Ooyama, was the brother of Kodama Himegami and the first ancestor of the Ooyama lineage. He was the original creator/owner of Kamudo, and the killer of Takeru Yamato's original body.

Yabiko chases the girls from his village
Yabiko, like his father, was a persistent skirt-chaser, albeit less smooth than his father. He has a great love for big breasts, often referring to women as 'breasts' rather than 'girls' or 'ladies'. He also seemed oblivious to his sister's attraction to him, but confessed his (romantic) love for her and kissed her upon her imprisonment.

Yabiko in his youth
Yabiko was the eldest child of Oousu no Mikoto and Yatsuno Himegami, born much before the era of Takeru Ooyama. His family was eventually hunted down by Takeru Yamato. After his parents were slaughtered trying to protect the family, he fled to Amanohara with his sister, Kodama. Once atop the mountain, he cut his palm with Habakiri in hopes of gaining the power of a god before sealing the weapon away along with his sister.
Yabiko ultimately survived the deification process and created his own legendary Maken known as Kamudo as a result. With it he was successful in defeating Takeru Yamato, albeit unaware that his uncle had the ability to transfer his soul to others.
Yabiko gets rescued by Kanna
Following the intense battle, Yabiko accidentally slipped off the mountain ledge and got washed away until he was rescued by a kind woman named Kanna. He would go on to marry Kanna and have a child with her, revoking his godly status.
He spent most of his lifetime searching for ways to release the seal to free his sister as well as Habakiri, to no avail. With no other options left, he ultimately chose to seal himself within Amanohara as well before he could die. Like his sister, his physical body eventually perished inside the seal while his soul remained inside Kamudo itself.
