Okino Island is a remote southern Japanese island frequently used by the members of Maken-Ki as an annual summer training camp. Okino Island served as the primary location for most of the Summer Training Camp Arc, with nearly all events occurring at various parts of the island.

The most sacred spot on the island is the White Mirror Waterfall, a secluded area located deep in the island forests. Following the clash with Venus, Takeru began his personal training here, along with the assistance of Minori and Aki.
Season 1[]
Okino Island was first alluded to in Macaron Limited-Time-Only Service Day when Furan and Yuuka explain to the rest of Maken-Ki that every member had to pay for themselves in order to participate in coming the training camp due to the committee's excessive spending.

Everyone in Maken-Ki then traveled to the island in It's Summer! It's Swimsuits! It's Training Camp!. Much of the time spent on the island was focused around Takeru's personal training as well as the club's fights against various monsters created by Otohime Yamato.

Takeru Turns into a Woman!? Naked in a Southern Island! took place entirely on Okino Island, specifically within the club's private condo, and followed the story in which both Takeru and Kengo were turned into women via Syria Ootsuka's Jingu.

In Begging Teacher, Takeru returned to Okino Island once again. He was transported to the island against his will after being knocked unconscious by two strange men. After waking up beside Aki, the teacher and student were forced to spend time together on the island due to a misunderstanding from Aki's mother. The missing couple was eventually discovered by Haruko and Himegami.
